You can see the hay in the bag
Most rabbit food is milled into uniform pellets. bunnyNature RabbitDream deliberately keeps a high proportion of long-cut meadow hay and dried herbs visible and intact — the rabbit has to chew through it, which is what wears the teeth down. A rabbit’s teeth grow continuously; chewing is not optional.
What’s in it
- Grain-free and sugar-free
- High crude-fibre content from meadow hay and herbs
- No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives
- Made in Germany by bunnyNature
Choosing a formula
- Basic — the everyday food for healthy adult rabbits
- Young — for rabbits still growing (up to about 6 months)
- Herbs — a higher proportion of herbs, useful for a rabbit that has gone off its usual food
- Senior — for older rabbits, easier to chew and digest
Feeding
This is a supplement to unlimited hay, not a replacement for it. Roughly 1 tablespoon per kg of body weight per day, plus fresh greens.
Why you won’t find this at the big chains
Burgess and bunnyNature are distributed in Australia exclusively to independent specialist retailers — the large chains cannot stock them. If you’ve been buying your rabbit’s food from a big-box pet store, this is a genuine step up, and this is one of the few places in Australia you can get it.
